REED takes 10 point lead into final

Team San Manuel Yamaha rider Chad Reed will take a 10-point lead into next weekend's World Championship Supercross finale, after finishing second at the penultimate round of the 2008 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Seattle's Qwest Field.
Reed posted the fastest qualifying time before winning his heat race, despite still carrying a serious shoulder injury into the event.
Chad reed came into the weekend's race with a 13-point lead, collided with Davi Millsaps while going for the holeshot and in turn started the race 10 seconds behind and in last place.
Chad reed charged his way through the field and it was not long before he was third behind Andrew Short. Andrew Short rode extremely defensively in an attempt to not give Reed an opportunity to start an attack on Short's teammate Kevin Windham for the win. As Reed made his move, Short turned hard into him and the two collided. The Australian (chad reed) held on to execute the pass and maintain a championship lead of 10 points over Windham going into the final round. The result was also his 12th podium finish this season and increased his AMA Supercross career podium finish count to an awesome 85.

Unique layout of Las Vegas track heats up season final

The season ending rase of the Monster energy AMA supercross series will be started this saturday.
The Top riders in the world , including Chad Reed, Kevin Windham, Ryan Dungey, Jason Lawrence, Ryan Villopoto and Trey Canard will be racing a track that features some challenging obstacules including a 825 ft. start straight that begins in the stadium’s back lot near the pits. The start is out of view of the fans which will add to the excitement. There will also be a "flat track" style section that sends the riders out of the stadium, around the north end of the stadium and racing back in at speeds of up to 60 mph.
Should be an awesome race to watch

Freeriding?

How many of us fmx riders actually take it back to the roots of fmx and ride a bit of Natural terrain? Mabye some of us should try it one day.. from experience it does make you a better rider and teaches you how to realy handle your bike. Riding ramps all day might make you better at tricks.. but it doesnt make you a better RIDER.
